Frequency tables organise data by showing how often each value (or range of values) occurs. For ungrouped data, list each value and its frequency. For grouped data, use class intervals like 10-19, 20-29, etc.
To find the mean from a frequency table: multiply each value by its frequency, add these products, then divide by the total frequency. For grouped data, use the midpoint of each class as the value.
The modal class is the class with the highest frequency. For the median class, find n/2 and locate which class contains this position using cumulative frequency.
